Overall we would highly recommend Cottonwood...They have been wonderful.
We had a very good location . We were asked to be there before 6 pm. That was no problem. Loved listening to the creek at night. We only stayed 2 nights. We spent the 2nd day exploring Rocky mountain national park. This place did not have a dump station or picnic table. This is just a place to stay for a night or 2. This place is easy off the interstate.exit 240 off i 70. Best of all we did not have to climb up a mountain side to get to the camp site. Yes you do pay cash and have to be there before 6pm. They tell you this right up front too. We loved rge location, real easy access. Had a 28ft travel trailer and 2 german shepherds. Plenty of room to walk them along the road where there is a trail. Great place would come back.
I kind of wish the lady did not hang up on me the first time I called. What's the point of living out in serene, natural surroundings when they have issues with small animals? Very disappointed.
What a lovely location and perfect for getting to Mt. Evans. The couple who run the park work very hard to keep it nice. I spent 3 nights here and have a spot 8' from a bubbling mountain stream. I'm parked on lush grass so they do ask that you don't put down mats or other items that will kill the grass and I'm fine with that! The rules they have are to keep the place clean, beautiful and avoid those things (uncontrolled dogs, noise, cigarette butts) that bother most of us. I highly recommend and will return to Cottonwood RV & Mobile Home Park.
We enjoyed the quiet & hearing the river running downstream. Owners very pleasant and helpful with directions. The grounds are beautifully landscaped & everything well maintained. We stayed here in a 40' MH in a back in sight. We'd stay again if in the area.
One of the most beautiful and well kept parks we have stayed in. The owners have been very kind, and helpful when we needed. This is a quiet park, with no showers, but full hookups. They have two sections, one for folks with dogs, and one for folks with cats...We don't have pets, but all of the animals seem quite friendly, and quiet.
