My friends and I had a blast! I was super nervous, but once we got on the way I quickly forgot about that. The staff are great, knowledgeable, and funny. They even take excellent photos! The ones where my boyfriend fell out are rather hilarious, but our awesome guide, Neal, was quick to pull him back in. We took the intermediate, but next time we definitely want to try the advanced. I can't wait to go back!
It's hard to imagine there could be a better place. Everyone is super down to earth, funny and having a blast. Liquid Descent is first class! Richard and Kenny were great! As a first timer with 9 and 11 year old kids my only regret was not bumping up to intermediate. Beginner is fun, but left us feeling like we needed a bit more. We will be back!
My 9 yo daughter and I had a great experience with Liquid Descent. It was her first time rafting so we took the Clear Creak Beginner trip. She totally loved it. So much so she was asking to go again the same day :) Our guide, Sydney, was awesome. The entire staff was super friendly. All of their gear is good and well maintained. The photos from the paddle were great. I'd take another trip with these guys for sure.
Finally, do not be cheap, pay for the DVD that they offer after your trip. Yes, we still have the memories in our head but I promise you when you see the smile on your face two or three months after your trip is over you will be thankful that you got the DVD and that you have the pictures to share with your friends.
This is a MUST DO, you will NOT be disappointed!! We did the 1/2 day float trip in Kremmling CO. The rafting offered both relaxation and a few small taste of mild white water. Any age could handle this trip and enjoy themselves from start to finish!! Our guide was Richard and he did a EXCELLENT job of not just educating us but making us laugh and have a great time! He even went above and beyond by offering his phone to another couple to take pictures, and then sent them to all of us!
Do not make the mistake and book with a different whitewater company in Idaho Springs, CO. This was out third trip with Liquid Descent and the experience gets better every time.
To be fare, four years ago we did try a different company for our whitewater rafting experience but we vowed we would never use them again.
